Handling triggers with tranquility
When feeling triggered by someone, nothing feels more satisfying than retaliating and putting people in their place.
After all, the opportunity to highlight others’ flaws and prove how wrong they are almost seems too good to pass.
But these knee-jerk reactions rarely lead to anything constructive.
If anything, they escalate the conflict, destroying any chance of a productive conversation.

Much against our instincts, taking time away from the situation and reflecting on the emotions whirling inside, serves everyone far better.
Exploring emotions could look like understanding what part of the other person’s behavior felt the most hurtful while recognizing any unmet needs or expectations.
Getting to the root of these feelings facilitates clarity on what it is that triggered us. This reflection allows us to express ourselves more thoughtfully, instead of fuelling defensiveness.
In case you haven’t figured it out by now, the key lies in being able to articulate our emotions better.
Once we get a hang of this, we create conversations that inspire mutual understanding rather than making permanent enemies…
The secret to effortless success
Achievement forms a huge part of our lives.
Before we could even tie our laces, we were posed with existential questions that were greater than our little minds could handle.

Having internalized this pressure from a young age, we grow up trying to find our place in this world, searching for every opportunity to make our mark.
Add to this, the status war zone on social media where millions of people are constantly flashing their successes and glorified lifestyles, fuelling comparison and guilt in others.
Unsurprisingly, keeping up with all of these external demands often creates an imbalance, leading us to feel overwhelmed and lost.
Ironically, I’ve come to observe that the best results and miracles flow for people who are completely detached from any kind of outcome.
These are people who pursue their passions and goals for no other reason but for the joy of the pursuit itself. They’re not concerned with how things will turn out or what people will think. They simply pick up what they love, fully immerse themselves in the process, and bear the fruits of their art.
Despite all our competitive urges to keep up with the race, life seems to reward those who drop overthinking and just follow their calling.
Honouring inner shifts
In a world that promotes grandiose ideas of growth- like minting money online, taking cold showers, or having a gazillion followers; we often neglect the quieter, seemingly small acts of courage.
These are moments where you:
🔥Took action in the face of self-doubt.
🔥Chose to pause instead of blowing up at someone.
🔥Drew a healthy boundary to honor your needs.
🔥Leaned into a difficult conversation.
🔥Appreciated your wins instead of judging yourself.
🔥Embraced a challenge and broke your comfortable cycle of stagnation.
As you can tell, making progress comes in different ways.
Just because these ideas don’t always fit into the conventional definition of success, doesn’t mean they don’t count.
Because your relationship with yourself, sets the tone for everything else.
