How to channel your Inner Budha
Four tips to save you from regretful actions
Everyone wants to be like Buddha—easy, calm, and unaffected by the chaos of the world.
But let’s face it: human limitations make that a bit unrealistic IRL.
We’re quick to react, faster to snap, and often find ourselves starring in our own soap operas of endless drama.
As someone who's a recovering impulsive reactor, I can confirm that learning to manage triggers is a journey—but one that’s totally worth it.
So, how do you go from being a hot potato to chilled like a cucumber? Here are some tips to cool your jets:
Pause like your life depends on it
Before you react, channel your inner Yoda. C’mon, you know you’ve got it. That momentary pause can be the difference between a thoughtful response and a "Did I really just say that?" moment.
Breathe before you speak
Deep breaths aren’t just reserved for yoga class. They can be life-saving in moments when you’re feeling agitated enough to punch someone in the face. Not to mention, breathing also helps reset your nervous system.
When drama strikes, mentally zoom out and ask “is this reaction going to be worth it”? “Will anyone benefit from this"? And most importantly will this episode matter next week? this matter next week? Next month?
Zooming out often creates a much-needed fresh perspective on things.
Find your inner sloth
Sloths are nature’s chillest creatures and a perfect example to follow. Move through life with their vibe—slow, deliberate, and completely unbothered. Plus, naps. Always naps.
Embodying these qualities might not make you Buddha-level serene, but it’ll certainly make you cool enough to dodge unnecessary drama—and maybe even inspire a little calm in others.
Becoming Fad-Free
We live in times where we’re fortunate to have access to vast amounts of information and knowledge with a few clicks.
However, this accessibility has also come at a price where it’s created shit loads of confusion, especially when it comes to food and nutrition.
Keto, Paleo, OMAD, Hamptons diet- where does one even stop?

I’ve had my journey of giving up all things meat after watching The Gamechangers on Netflix only to start questioning my vegetarian meals two years later, after reading The Plant Paradox.
Making well-informed choices without being brainwashed is an underrated problem of our world.
Luckily I stumbled upon nutritionist and author Kavita Devgan who’s spent the last 25 years mastering the understanding and science of food.
In this episode, she offers her practical and insightful take on all the various food myths out there, how to ditch unhealthy diet plans, and what it takes to build sustainable habits for health and longevity.
